Electric car charge point map
To see the locations of electric car charge points that ESB ecars is installing nationwide, view the map below which is regularly updated to reflect the ongoing installations.
There are 3 categories of charge points for electric car drivers to use. ESB ecars' target is to install 2,000 home charge points, 1,500 on-street charge points and 30 fast charge points.
Public charge points installed are represented with a green icon, fast charge points installed are blue, legacy 3-pin charge points are grey and charge points undergoing engineering design are orange. Any charge points out of service for a short period of time are represented with a purple icon but will be replaced with a green/blue icon as soon as they are back in operation. As part of ESB ecars' ongoing investment in electric car technology legacy 3-pin charge points (grey) are currently being upgraded to Type 2 charge points which are compatible with the new generation electric cars such as the Nissan Leaf and Renault Fluence Z.E. Please note that home charge points are not included on the map.
