Accessibility statement

The ESB Customer Supply website contains several features to help improve the quality of your visit. The most important of these are:

Website features for visitors with web access disabilities

The ESB Customer Supply website adheres to the guidelines of the international Web Accessibility standard WCAG 1.0 Level-A.

Compliance to the Level-A standard was implemented by ESBI Computing in June 2003, and was confirmed in an independent evaluation carried out by Ennis Information Age Services.

Ongoing compliance of the website to the WCAG standard is assessed at six-monthly intervals by OpenInterface.

Exclusions to WCAG 1.0 Level-A

The following content is excluded from Level-A compliance :

Website features for visitors with reading or vision difficulties

Have content read out loud by your computer

This website is speech-enabled, which means you can listen to the words on the site as they are read out loud by your computer.

This service is useful for people who have reading difficulties, mild vision disabilities or for whom English is a second language, and it is free to everyone.

Change the size of the text on this website

If you find the text size on this website too small to read comfortably, you can change its size.

The way you do this depends on the browser (i.e. the software program) you use to view the web.

However, some computers also allow you to change text size simply by holding down the 'control' or 'alt' keys and using the wheel in the middle of your mouse to make the text larger and smaller.

Microsoft Internet Explorer on a PC (Personal Computer)
  1. Select View from the menu at the top of the browser window
  2. Select Text Size from the list of available options
  3. Select the size you require from the side menu that opens up
Mozilla Firefox on a PC

Follow the same steps as above, or change text size using keyboard shortcuts:

  • Press Ctrl and + to increase the size
  • Press Ctrl and - to decrease the size
  • Press Ctrl and 0 to go back to the default size

Netscape Navigator on a PC

Netscape Navigator on a PC uses the same keyboard shortcuts as Firefox to change text size.

Apple Mac computer on any browser

Use the following keyboard shortcuts:

  • Press Cmd and + to increase the size
  • Press Cmd and - to decrease the size
  • Press Cmd and 0 to go back to the default size

Website features for viewing movies, documents and other content

While the vast majority of content on this website is available as plain text, some has been published in different formats. This is because certain information can be better demonstrated in other ways, e.g. video.
