Paying your bill has never been simpler with a host of payment options designed to make life a little bit easier for you.

Pay online

Our online account service

Say goodbye to paper bills! Just register here to view and pay your bill online. You can also view past bills to monitor your electricity usage.

By Laser/Irish Visa Debit Card Laser Logo

You can now use your Laser Card/Irish Visa Debit Card to pay your bill online.

OR

Just call 1850 372 372 and:

  • Press 2 (for other queries)
    then
  • Press 1 (to pay your bill by Laser)

Then enter your 9-digit account number (found on top right your bill) and follow the instructions.

Direct debit

Sign up for our Direct Debit service online

Or

phone us on: 1850 372 372.
You can relax - secure in the knowledge that your bill will always be paid on time.

BillPay.ie Billpay Logo

Use Billpay.ie, the free online bill-paying service offered by An Post.

Online banking

Pay through your bank's internet (or telephone) banking service. Remember to quote your 9 digit Electric Ireland Account Number in the reference field.

PayPoint PayPoint Logo

Pay your bill and buy token meter cards at shops displaying the PayPoint logo. You will need your Easypay card or copy of your bill to make payments or your Powerpay Card to buy token meter cards.

Payzone Payzone Logo

You can also pay your bill at shops displaying the payzone logo. You will need your Easypay card or a copy of your bill when making payments.

At any An Post AnPost Logo or PostPoint outlets PostPoint Logo

Pay your bill at any An Post outlet throughout the country.

At AIB branches AIB Logo

Pay at any AIB branch using the Bank Giro slip from your bill.

Bank of Ireland ATM AIB Logo

Bank of Ireland customers can pay their bills at any Bank of Ireland ATM.

We do not accept cash by post, so please send a cheque made payable to Electric Ireland and your completed Bank Giro Credit Transfer slip (found at the bottom of your bill) to:

From outside Republic of Ireland

Provide the following details to your bank together with your account number to make payment via electronic money transfer.
