Application Forms

  • Application Form NC1 (PDF | 1MB)
    This application form is for builders or developers who wish to apply for a connection to the electricity distribution system for the following:
    • A Mixed Use/Multi-Unit Development
    • A Housing Scheme
  • Application Form NC2 (PDF | 748KB)
    This application form is for domestic customers wishing to apply for a connection to the electricity distribution system for the following:
    • For a single house (urban or rural)
    • Farm premises that use loads of less than or equal to 29 kilovolt-amperes (kVA)
    • Granny flat
  • Application Form NC3 (PDF | 754KB)
    This application form is for business customers wishing to apply for a connection to the electricity distribution system for the following:
    • A single commercial/industrial unit
    • Mixed multiple connections, e.g. traffic lights, bus shelters
    • An increase or decrease in your current level of supply (Maximum Import Capacity)
    • Farm premises that use loads of greater than or equal to 30 Kilovolt-Amperes (kVA)

    This application form is for customers who wish to apply for a connection to the electricity distribution system for the following:
    • Unmetered public lighting of less than 2 Kilovolt-Amperes (kVA) for a Local Authority or builder/developer.
    • Unmetered electric loads (not public lighting) of less than 2 Kilovolt-Amperes (kVA) for customers with connection points, e.g. traffic lights, bus shelters.
    • Unmetered electric loads (not public lighting) of less than 2 Kilovolt-Amperes (kVA) for customers with a single connection point, e.g. electric fences.

    These application forms are for those who wish to apply for a connection to the electricity distribution system.

    Please complete the NC5 application form if your project is:

    • A generator with the Maximum Export Capacity of less that 0.5MW, or
    • A generator which is deemed to have a public good (e.g. landfill) as set out in CER direction CER/05/049
    • A generator that operates in parallel with the electricity network. Please note no application fee is required to process a generator application for the Maximum Export Capacity of Zero kVA.
    • A standby generator. Please note no application fee is required to process a generator application for the Maximum Export Capacity of Zero kVA.

    Please complete the NC5a application form if your project is:

    • A generator with a proposed Maximum Export Capacity above 6kW single phase and between 11kW to 29kVA three phase.
    • Is being processed within the group processing approach Group Processing Approach (GPA), and you wish the system operators to use assumed project data rather than specific project data provided by yourself. Please reference Appendix 7 of CER final direction on Gate 3 CER/08/260 for details of this option.
  • Notification Form for Micro-Generation NC6 (PDF | 43KB)
    This application form is for those who wish to apply for a connection to the electricity distribution system for a micro-generator.
  • Mast interference claim form (PDF | 16KB)
    This form is for those who wish to apply for compensation as a result of steel electricity masts or double wood poles that interfere with normal farming practices.
