Recognising and managing environmental risks has assumed a priority status for all in our business, and we have put in place a dedicated Environmental Management Team which is committed to developing and maintaining effective and efficient environmental management systems within our business.

Reflecting our serious commitment to environmental management, we actively engage with a wide range of stakeholders on environmental issues relevant to the business. These include Local Authorities, An Bord Pleanala, Department of Environment Heritage and Local Government, Government Representatives, National Parks & Wildlife Service, National Monuments Service, IFA, IDA and various community groups.

We actively engage with all relevant statutory bodies in order to minimise the impacts of our business on the countryside. National monuments and areas of Conservation interest are mapped on our geographical information systems
