We are the division responsible for managing your electricity and gas supply accounts.

Our key priority is to maintain the highest standards of customer service while helping our customers to get the most value from our service.

As of the end 2010 we supply electricity to 1.4 million customers in the Republic of Ireland.

New business price plans

The Commission for Energy Regulation (CER) published the Roadmap to Deregulation (CER10/058) earlier this year. As a result of this decision, deregulation of business markets occurred from 1st October, 2010.

Now selling gas and new electricity price plans

As from the 4th April 2011 Electric Ireland is now selling gas to residential and small business customers. In addition, following deregulation in the residential electricity markets from April 2011, Electric Ireland has new competitive electricity price plans.

Promoting energy efficiency

We provide information and advice on the efficient use of electricity to enable customers to reduce their electricity usage.

We also promote energy efficient products for both the home and business and provide energy efficiency advice to customers.
