Summary regulatory accounts 2008

This year, we are providing summary regulatory accounts for the 8th year, extracted from our full regulatory accounts for the year ended 31 December 2008.

The accounts were prepared by ESB for submission to the Commission for Energy Regulation (CER) as required by Regulation 27 of Statutory Instrument 445 of 2000.

Purpose of the regulatory accounts

The purpose of the regulatory accounts is to provide financial information to the CER about discrete ESB businesses, including:

  • Power Generation
  • Distribution
  • Transmission
  • Customer Supply
  • ESB Independent Energy Limited - a licensed business
