Third level students
Third level work placements can really help you get a feel for a career in ESB.
Career fairs and college visits give you a chance to talk to ESB employees and find out more about what we offer our employees.
ESB's graduate development programmes give recent graduates in engineering, business/ finance/ accounting the opportunity to start their career in a supportive and challenging environment.
Over the next four years, ESB Group will be recruiting around 100 apprentices each year. At the end of the second year many of these apprentices will be given the opportunity to study full time for an engineering degree.

Graduating with a business or finance degree?
In 2009, we are recruiting recent accountancy or finance graduates for the Graduate Accountancy Traineeship Programme.
Trainees will start their careers in the finance team and will be sponsored to do ICAI qualification.
Support, training and challenging assignments in the business units throughout the scheme will stand trainees in excellent stead for any future career.
Apprenticeships
We will be recruiting approximately 100 apprentices per year, over the next four years.
At the end of the second year, a number of these apprentices will get the opportunity to study full time for an engineering degree.
