Statement from ESB regarding River Shannon as at 4:15pm

24th November 2009:

The situation remains stable. ESB confirms that it will not increase the level of water discharge at Parteen Weir today. The situation remains under constant review by ESB, working closely with the Inter Agency Group. Updates will continue to be issued.
