Statement from ESB regarding River Shannon as at 5:00pm, Friday 27th November 2009
27th November 2009:
ESB confirms that it will continue to maintain the same rate of discharge from Parteen Weir for the rest of the day and overnight.
The situation is under constant review and ESB continues to work closely with the Inter Agency Group which includes the local Councils, HSE and the Emergency Services.
Another update will follow in the morning.
