What's an RSS feed?
RSS stands for "Really Simple Syndication". It offers a simple way to review new content on a large number of websites very quickly.
How does it work?
RSS uses an application known as a newsreader to send content to you. You subscribe to our press release feed, along with feeds offered by other sites you like.
There are many newsreaders available. You can try a desktop application for Mac or PC, or use an online reader such as Google Reader.
Once you've subscribed, your newsreader automatically updates with the latest content from the sites you've subscribed to.
Why should I use it?
Using your newsreader, you can 'skim' through multiple sites easily, without having to visit them one by one.
Using RSS:
- Saves you time (you don't have to come back to multiple sites to check for new content - the content is delivered to you)
- Protects your privacy (you don't have to give out your email address in order to have updates sent to you)
- Clears your inbox (keeps all your updates in one place - and out of your email inbox)
