Free Electrons Trophy 2018
The winner of Free Electrons 2018 will be the recipient of a cash prize of €200,000 and a bespoke trophy designed by a student from Ireland’s National College of Art and Design college. Students were invited to design a concept that would capture the ethos of the start-up accelerator programme and Diarmuid Farrell was the winner. Find out more about Diarmuid’s winning concept.
Trophy Design Winner
Diarmuid Farrell is an interaction design student from Carlow, Ireland. He is currently in his second year of studying interaction design at the National College of art and Design. He is passionate about a human centred approach to design as well as bringing the physical and digital worlds together. In his free time Diarmuid enjoys surfing, skating and swimming.
