ESB Networks

ESB Networks finances, builds and maintains the transmission system through which electricity flows from generation stations to bulk supply points near cities and towns across Ireland.
We carry out all the functions relating to the electricity distribution system. This includes planning, construction, maintenance and operation of the distribution networks, metering of customer end use.

Customer Solutions

Electric Ireland is the retail arm of ESB, supplying electricity, gas and energy services to the business and residential markets in the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland.
Recognised as Ireland’s leading energy provider, customer service is the cornerstone of Electric Ireland operations. We set ourselves high standards and are always innovating to offer competitive prices, as well as smart, innovative products for the connected home.

Engineering & MP's

As part of our Engineering And Major Projects, ESB International is a leading global engineering consultant specialising in the utility sector. Our mission is to unlock value for energy utilities, developers and State energy departments. We work with our clients in delivering modern, efficient and dependable energy systems which transform the economies and societies that we serve in.

Generation and Trading

ESB Generation and Wholesale Markets develop, operate and trade our electricity generation assets. We compete on the global wholesale energy trading market in electricity, gas and coal. Our current focus is to expand our renewable fleet through the development and construction of wind, solar and biomass projects.

Enterprise Services

The Business Service Centre is at the heart of ESB delivering essential IT, HR, Payroll, Finance, Property, Legal and Insurance services to ESB group. Our professional and engaged team support a wide range of complex and fast changing businesses and services across the ESB group.
