Science and Technology in Action

Science and Technology in Action (STA) is designed to support the teaching and learning of science and related subjects. ESB is a proud partner of STA and provides the organisation with useful lesson plans to help educate students on electricity generation and future energy.

ESB in Schools

Supporting projects in the area of educational disadvantage is one of the key pillars of ESB's Energy for Generations Fund. Over the past 10 years, we have awarded approximately €10million through this fund and support a number of organisations including TechSpace, an initiative that encourages young people to express themselves through technology. We also support An Cosán Virtual Community College, Fighting Words, a creative writing centre for children and Business in the Community’s Time to Read Programme. 

Our staff volunteers dedicate much time to promoting and rolling out these programmes. Check out this short video on our Time to Read programme.
