Dublin is <em>Fully Charged</em> for International Electric Vehicle Summit

This one day EV conference and exhibition will bring together thought leaders and policy makers from Europe, US and China as well as other experts at the cutting edge of EV technology. International executives from IBM, Nissan, Renault, Siemens, International Energy Agency will share their knowledge, latest research results and expert views about this dynamic and emerging, new industry.

A panel discussion with those responsible for ecar programmes in Estonia, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands and UK will provide delegates with an insight into the business models, consumer uptake and challenges of EV adoption. In addition, first year results from Green eMotion, the largest EU funded transport research project in Europe with a total budget of €42 million and 43 partners, will be discussed.

A range of electric cars and related EV products and solutions will be on display in the exhibition area. A number of Irish small and medium enterprises who, over the last two years, have invested in developing a range of innovative products/services for the EV market will be showcased using the umbrella Ecar Ireland brand. These world class solutions, supported by Enterprise Ireland, have been proven in the Irish market and are being actively marketed internationally. Fully Charged 2012 is a satellite event of the prestigious Euroscience Open Forum (ESOF 2012) which is one of the highlight events of Dublin, City of Science 2012.
