A virtual public consultation on the proposed Celtic Offshore Wind project launched on Tuesday, 28th June 2022. The consultation will be open for a period of six weeks, closing on Monday, 8th August 2022.
It will provide up-to-date information on the project as well as offer an opportunity for interested parties to provide feedback and register to get informed as the project progresses.
The proposed project consists of two separate phases. Celtic One is an 800MW fixed-bottom offshore wind farm, to be located approximately 8km offshore to the east of Co Cork and the south of Co Waterford. Celtic Two is an 800MW floating offshore wind farm, to be located approximately 27km south east of Co Cork.
