Solar is increasingly central to our net zero energy ambitions. We aim to develop and acquire 1.8 GW of solar by 2030 and continue to develop our growing solar energy portfolio, partnering with others to help deliver this.

We officially launched our Timahoe North solar farm in Co Kildare, the first large-scale solar project delivered as part of our our co-development agreement with BnM.
The project has an installed capacity of 108MWp and has been exporting to Ireland’s electricity network since earlier this year. A community benefit fund has also which will be used for economic, environmental, social and cultural well-being of the local community.
Located in Co Waterford, our Carriglong solar farm will generate 32.7MW of clean electricity that will have enough capacity to power more than 9,500 homes.
